Ainosuke Kataoka and Mika Anne make an appearance! Campaign key visual and promotional video completed!

The "Come to Osaka" Campaign is a campaign designed to encourage visitors from Japan and abroad to stay in Osaka and tour around the prefecture! Campaign" (Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, and Osaka Convention & Visitors Bureau) is pleased to announce the completion of a key visual and promotional video featuring "Osaka Come and See Ambassadors" Ainosuke Kataoka and Mika Anne, which were in the process of being produced.

This year's key visual features the big smiling faces of the two Osaka Ambassadors with a powerful message "Come to Osaka" written by Osaka-born calligrapher Bisen Aoyagi, who has been challenging new forms of calligraphy, including global calligraphy performance activities, The message is designed to have a strong impact, evoking the fun and excitement of Osaka.

The promotional video starts with a woman who wants to feel better and is invited by a friend to visit Osaka for fun. She is thrilled, excited, and in the best of moods as she tours the unique and attractive tourist spots.

Profile of Mifan Aoyagi

Calligrapher / Artist

Born in Osaka in 1990, she began studying calligraphy at the age of 4 under the influence of her grandmother, and at the graduate school of Baika Women's University, she studied Chinese calligraphy and was exposed to many calligraphic works by Kukai, Ueda Kuwabato, Nakabayashi Ochiku, and others.
At the age of 19, he began performing calligraphy.
In 2023, the giant folding screen "Hensho" and the VR NFT work "Hannya Shinkyou" will be dedicated at the World Heritage Site "Koyasan Sohonzan Kongobuji Temple", a sacred site of Japanese Buddhism founded by Kobo-Daishi Kukai, one of Japan's three master calligraphers.
In the same year, he received the Mainichi Award, the highest public award, at the 74th Mainichi Calligraphy Exhibition.

He has performed calligraphy in more than 10 countries, including France, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates, and has also worked on many film titles, including CAPCOM's "Monster Hunter Rise," Osamu Tezuka's "Dororo," and the film version of "Mononokai.
In recent years, he has been creating works using virtual reality (VR), and continues to challenge new forms of calligraphy under the motto of tradition and innovation.
