On November 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2024, "Autumn Weekend Wai Wai Wine" was held in the Kawachi area!
The event featured brewery tours and tastings, wine-related workshops, and live music at three wineries: Katashimo Winery (Kashiwara City), Kawachi Wine Museum (Habikino City), and Asuka Wine (Habikino City).

At Katashimo Winery, visitors were able to enjoy tastings such as "ginger candy hot water & rum," an evolution of the "hiyashi candy" that has been produced for about 70 years, and for snacks, they could enjoy drooling chicken with a sauce made from Katashimo Winery's grape juice as a secret ingredient.

In addition, the vineyards were specially illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy a fantastic nighttime view of the vineyards that was different from that of the daytime.

At the Kawachi Wine Museum, a voluminous one-hour tour of the brewery was conducted. After the tour, a tasting was held at the Kintokuin Temple, which is normally closed to the public, providing a special experience. Mini live performances and a wine bottle wrapping workshop were also held, making the venue an exciting place for a wide variety of fun.

Asuka Wine offered not only a factory tour but also a tour of its own vineyards. The wine tasted with the superb view from the top of the vineyard was exquisite.
A mini live concert was also held, and an elegant moment was enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand.

Each winery also prepared snacks to go with the wine, making it a wonderful event for visitors who were looking forward to the new sake season and enjoying it with all five senses.
