Centered on Bunzo Otsuki (a Living National Treasure), one of Osaka’s leading Noh performers, and his successor, Yuichi Otsuki, the event featured nationally renowned Noh and Kyogen performers from across Japan—including Yuki Nomura from Tokyo and Taichiro Nomura, and other nationally renowned Noh and Kyogen performers from across the country. Against the backdrop of the illuminated Osaka Castle, a grand “Takigi-no” (open-fire Noh) performance will be held in the Nishinomaru Gardens of Osaka Castle.
