Report on "Remember EXPO in Expo '70 Commemorative Park

Hokusetsu Area

The "Remember EXPO in Banpaku Kinen Park" was held at the Banpaku Kinen Park in Suita City for three days from February 21 (Sat.) to 23 (Mon.), 2026.

The venue was crowded with visitors from start to finish with giant Myakmyak balloons, snow slides, and kitchen cars featuring flavors from around the world.
On the first day, the 21st, two Myakmyak monuments relocated from the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo site were unveiled, and it was very impressive to see visitors who had been waiting to see them again enjoying taking pictures of them in their own way.

The Expo '70 Pavilion, located in the park, features displays of staff uniforms from the 1970 and 2025 expositions, as well as posters and videos looking back on both expositions.
Many people were seen enjoying themselves in front of the exhibits lined up in the exhibition hall, looking back on their memories of those days with nostalgia.

In addition, a large-scale stamp rally will be held this year to collect 15 different stamps from a total of seven locations inside and outside the park.
With the two Expo stamps, the old and the new, in one hand and the special stamp passport in the other, the event was constantly crowded with people trying to conquer all the stamps.

During these three days, stuffed animals of Myakmyak were placed on some of the Osaka Monorail cars, and visitors who rode along were happy to take pictures of them.
Also, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the period, the "OSAKA WHEEL" Ferris wheel in EXPOCITY will be illuminated in red and blue Expo-inspired colors.
Visitors could be seen here and there gazing happily at the brilliant Ferris wheel shining in the night sky.

Thus, the "Remember EXPO in Expo '70 Commemorative Park" ended with a great success.
More than four months after the closing of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, the venue was still filled with visitors holding Myakmyak key chains and plush toys, enjoying a special moment as they reminisced about the Expo that colored each era.

Thank you very much for your many visits to our booth.
