This is the first large-scale solo exhibition by Chiharu Shiota (b. 1972) in her hometown of Osaka in 16 years. This exhibition aims to approach the "connection" with others that we have become undeniably aware of after experiencing the worldwide spread of infectious diseases, through the three "eyes" - "I", "eye", and "ai".
We believe that each of these elements interacts in various ways to connect us to our surroundings.
Through a variety of techniques, including installation, painting, drawing, sculpture, and video, this exhibition will be a time for an intimate dialogue with the "connected me.
