A wintertime tradition, Osaka's Feast of Lights has been held since April in conjunction with the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025, with special lights being turned on around Midosuji Boulevard and Osaka City Hall.

Midosuji Illumination will light up the entire area in mixed colors to express the growth of the city, and various spots of light, such as the Expo '70 color lighting of the Umeda Suction Tower, projection mapping in the North and South Midos, and the "Light Art Street" where art work "light boxes" are displayed. The "Art Street of Light" will display the artwork "Box of Light" and various other contents.

On the illuminated facade of City Hall, a 3D-mapped LED moving image will be projected in a special Expo program (every 15 minutes for about 3 minutes until Monday, October 13, 2025 (holiday), until 10:00 p.m.). A fantastic light tunnel with trees and arches will welcome you on the south side of the City Hall.
