On Sunday, October 11, and Monday, October 12, 2026 (a national holiday), a special event commemorating the first anniversary of the closing of the Osaka-Kansai World Expo was held over two days: “1st Anniversary EXPO 2025 ~Relive That Wonder and Excitement~ @Come to Osaka! ”EXPO Reborn!” ~Relive the Future, Food, and Culture~” was held.

At the venue, we presented a variety of exhibits and hands-on programs designed to evoke memories of the World’s Fair.
In addition, the event featured stage performances, food and beverage stands and merchandise booths, as well as a reenactment of the public announcements that echoed throughout the Expo grounds, among other things,

The event was a huge success, drawing about 20,000 visitors who came to “relive that moving experience.”

Inside the venue, visitors can see the “Future Human Washing Machine” and the “World Myaku-Myaku Exhibition” from the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion—which became a hot topic at the World Expo—as well as,

In addition to the flying car VR corner, where visitors can experience a simulated journey into the future, there will be diverse international exhibits by official participating countries, character meet-and-greets,

The Expo’s diverse world was condensed into a compact space, featuring experience booths that showcased the charms of municipalities throughout Osaka Prefecture.

In addition, the outdoor pilotis plaza will feature food trucks serving cuisine from around the world—which was a huge hit at the World Expo—as well as,

A special pop-up shop featuring Expo-related merchandise opened, and it was bustling with crowds of families and tourists drawn by the enticing aromas throughout the event.

The area was overflowing with the smiling faces of many people enjoying food and culture from around the world.

The performer who drew the most attention on the second day's stage was,

This is the special live concert “OSAKA MUSIC LOVER -JAPANIMATION ROCKS- ”EXPO Reborn!’ Special Edition.”

First up was Otoha, a highly anticipated singer-songwriter who has garnered significant attention for her anime theme songs and songwriting contributions.

The moment she took the stage, the sound of her guitar and her beautiful singing voice filled the room, instantly captivating the audience, and

The audience clapped along to liven up the venue, and this passionate live performance—where the stage and the audience became one—instantly raised the energy level in the venue.

And then, amid the electric excitement, the two members of PUFFY—who had set the Expo venue stage ablaze—took the stage after receiving the baton!

As PUFFY appeared on stage, loud applause and cheers erupted from the audience.

When everyone’s favorite hit songs and familiar melodies start playing, the audience is instantly drawn into PUFFY’s world.

Accompanied by her warm, pop-style vocals and soothing harmonies, the audience moved to the beat and sang along,

The entire venue was filled with smiles.

The finale will feature appearances by Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura, Osaka Mayor Hideyuki Yokoyama, Razor Ramon, and Fujisaki Market, among others.

A closing ceremony was also held, featuring the return of the karaoke event—which had been a huge hit at the Expo—and the event remained filled with smiles right up until the very end.
