In December 2025, "DAISEN Night Balloon Festa" was held at Daisen Park (Sakai City) adjacent to the Nintoku-Tenno Tumulus, one of the World Heritage Sites in the Mozu and Furuichi Tumulus Group.
Under the clear winter night sky, the event attracted many visitors who enjoyed the light show and a wide variety of gourmet foods, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the park.

A special evening spread out in Daisen Park, which has a different look from the daytime.
The event will feature projection mapping and light effects by NAKED, INC., a creative company led by Ryotaro Muramatsu, a native of Osaka Prefecture who is known for staging events in Japan and abroad, including Kyoto's Nijo Castle and Heian Shrine.
Two types of content, "DAISEN Night Ballon Festa Welcome Mapping" and "SAKAI NIGHT MUSEUM," were shown on the front wall of the Sakai City Museum, inviting visitors into a fantastic world.

The trees along the path leading from the front of the museum to the Sakai Balloon and Great Lawn were illuminated with twinkling laser lights that danced with fine light particles.
Also featured was an interactive art experience in which participants walked around the park with lanterns in their hands. The lights of lanterns of different colors and patterns were gathered together to create an art space of light in the park at night.

In addition, "Osaka Sakai Balloon Night Special Operation" will be held at the same time.
The night view of Sakai from about 100 meters above the city, with the lights of the city shining like jewels, was admired by the visitors.
From the balloon, visitors could also enjoy the night view of the ancient tombs, a special experience that could only be experienced here.

The venue will also feature a legacy exhibit from the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
Sand displayed in the Jordan Pavilion, ropes used in the Portugal Pavilion, and other exhibits were lined up to remind visitors of the memory of the connection between Osaka and the world through Expo '70.

The food and beverage area will also be well-stocked with kitchen cars offering dishes from Jordan, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, and other countries.
Popular local restaurants also opened their stalls, making the venue lively with culinary delights.
Many visitors were seen enjoying food and conversation in the light-filled park at night, which was a heartwarming experience.
