Guinness World Record Challenge Event

Osaka City

To commemorate the appointment of singer and actor Yutaka Yokoyama (SUPER EIGHT) as "Osaka Konohana Tourism Ambassador," a Guinness World Record attempt event will be held on Saturday, October 25, at Maishima Barbecue Park in Konohana-ku, Yokoyama's hometown, to unveil the new position. The event will be held at Maishima Barbecue Park in Konohana-ku, Konohana-ku, the hometown of Yokoyama.

Yutaka Yokoyama (SUPER EIGHT) was appointed as the Osaka Konohana-ku Tourism Ambassador.

As the site of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, Konohana-ku is attracting attention from around the world. In order to continue to make Osaka an increasingly attractive spot, Ms. Yokoyama plans to act as a tourism ambassador to promote the various attractions that Osaka has to offer, including her hometown of Konohana-ku.
At the Guinness World Record attempt event, which also serves as the unveiling of the new Osaka Konohana-ku Tourism Ambassador, Yokoyama will make an appearance, give a speech as the ambassador, and then challenge the Guinness World Record for the "largest number of people cooking teppan-yaki at the same time" by 1,000 participants. The current Guinness World Record is 798 people (to be achieved in 2024). Ticket PIA will begin accepting applications for participants in this event from 12:00 p.m. on September 19 (Fri.).
