Tuesday, October 13, 2026: A special event at Universal Studios Japan commemorating the first anniversary of the closing of the Osaka-Kansai World Expo

The “1st Anniversary EXPO 2025 ~Relive That Surprise and Excitement~ @ Osaka—Come Check It Out! ”EXPO Beat Jam’” event was held.
 

Amid a wave of clapping from the approximately 3,500 spectators who packed the venue, the MCs, Football Hour, took the stage.

As he warmed up the audience with his lively banter, loud cheers and applause erupted from the audience.

Kicking things off were SIS, a pair of real-life sisters from the Kansai region who are dancers.

The two performers, who captivated large audiences at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Osaka-Kansai Expo,

Wearing the uniforms of the venue service attendants for the Osaka-Kansai Expo,

When I took the stage alongside dancers wearing uniforms from the Signature Pavilion and other groups, the atmosphere changed completely.

They delivered a powerful performance set to music, instantly raising the energy level in the venue right from the opening.

Next to take the stage were the New School Leaders, who had also generated a lot of buzz at the Expo’s opening ceremony.

They captivate the audience with their energetic stage performances, further ramping up the excitement in the venue.

The live performance created an overwhelming sense of unity, and the audience responded with clapping and cheers, bringing the entire venue to a fever pitch.

Midway through the event, Myaku Myaku and the Universal Studios Japan park characters put on a special performance.

This one-day, lively collaboration brought smiles to the faces of everyone from children to adults, and the entire venue was filled with a warm atmosphere.

Then, just as the excitement in the venue reached its peak, the two members of Kobukuro took the stage for the finale.

Amid thunderous applause, the special live performance began.

The venue was filled with soaring vocals and beautiful harmonies, and

It seemed as though every single member of the audience was listening intently to the warm and powerful performance.

A moving scene unfolded as the entire audience came together to enjoy the music.

After the concert, Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura and Osaka Mayor Hideyuki Yokoyama took the stage.

When it was joyfully announced that Kobukuro had been appointed as “Ambassadors for Come to Osaka,” the audience erupted in loud applause and cheers.

This site at USJ was once the venue where the name “Myaku Myaku” was announced, and it was also where Kobukuro was first appointed as “Come to Osaka Ambassadors,” and

The origins of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, where the official theme song was unveiled and performed for the first time.

Seeing the two of them, who—following the Osaka-Kansai Expo—will once again work together as ambassadors to showcase the charms of Osaka,

It was a special day when the entire venue was filled with a warm sense of emotion.
